    • Includes the latest stable version of OpenVPN.
    • Imbeds the latest stable version of the OpenSLL library (OpenSSL 1.0.0c), which contains fixes for several security vulnerabilities.
  • Better Usability
    • Streamlined installation.
    • Improved “wizard” guides the user through installation of new configurations.
    • Documentation reorganized and expanded.
    • A single, system-wide shortcut key displays the Tunnelblick menu.
  • More Capabilities
    • Configurations may be set to start when the computer starts.
    • Configurations can be shared with all users of a computer.
    • Additional ciphers and hashes are supported.
    • Displays large numbers of configurations more clearly.
    • Configuration files, keys and certificates may be packaged together; the package will be installed automatically when double-clicked.
  • Better Flexibility
    • Tun and tap kexts are loaded dynamically.
    • Multiple “Set nameserver” choices offer different handling of DNS settings.
    • Pre-up and post-down scripts enable easy manipulation of tun/tap device (and anything else).
    • Additional menu commands may be added.
    • Scripts may be run when Tunnelblick is launched or a connection is attempted.
  • Better Reliability
    • DNS caches are now flushed after a connection is made and after it is disconnected.
  • DHCP renewals do not restart the connection.
